Handles for Thrown Mugs

Mugs are so much fun and should be a staple in every potters’ skillset.

In this fun skills clinic, we will be learning to pull a handle, install it and discussing functionality.

This beginner level project is appropriate to anyone who has taken the Intro to Pottery series.

For this workshop please bring:

• up to three thrown leatherhard mug bodies, trimmed

• 2 pounds of clay to make the handles

• a towel and your favourite tools

The details:

• Registration is required and is open to members 18 years and over

• Class fee is $0

• you will need to bring up to three thrown leatherhard cylinders, trimmed. Also, please bring a couple pounds of clay.

• Please plan to arrive a few minutes early, bring a hand towel and your favourite tools
