Throwing - Level One Series

Develop your throwing skills!

This throwing series is perfect for any member who is not confident on the pottery wheel and wants more direct instruction and guided practice. If you are afraid to throw by yourself, or if it's been so long since you've thrown anything that you're more than rusty, then this is a great opportunity to improve your skills. We will review wheel work right from scratch, working on centering and pulling up clay with the goal of making consistently formed cylinders and bowls.

Classes are being held in the Throwing Room from 9-noon. The workroom is open to members.

Saturdays, 9am start (please come at least 10 minutes early)
